How it is built

The accounts come from the Norwegian business register. The contracts come from Doffin and TED and are fetched every morning. The pages are static and rebuilt weekly, so they cost nothing to serve. No page that is open to everyone calls a language model. That is the whole reason the service can be left alone; it has one site, one database and no staff.

The figures are a floor, not a fact sheet. The Doffin harvest is not complete, TED only covers contracts above the EEA threshold, and a value is stated on roughly half of the awards. The pages say what we find, not what exists.

June 2026

Ohmsyn stopped being a product. Whatever stayed open had to run itself.

25 July 2026

The accounts check became the front door. One registration number, three seconds, no language model, no email. 118 industry pages in two languages.

16 September 2026

The company pages were opened to search engines, with public contracts and what comes up again. Tendr was retired as a separate brand. The conversational friction test was closed to anonymous visitors.

Ohmsyn is made by Erik Harry Høydal, a product and innovation lead in Oslo, and built alone with Claude Code. If something is wrong, say so.
